Dean W. Arnold is an author and filmmaker. Raised by an old-school Calvinist preacher, his spiritual formation includes Young Life, Covenant College, spiritual mapping, the supernatural gifts of the Spirit, the Vineyard, and now the Orthodox Church. His life journey involves pro-life activism, political electioneering, news publishing, litigation, serendipity, travel, screenwriting, non-profit building and creating hundreds of short documentaries as creative director for a major media ministry, all the while continuing to freelance as an author and filmmaker.

Dean has an extraordinary mother, three older brothers, a son and daughter, and is married to Dottie. He is tonsured “The Reader Gabriel” by the Orthodox Church in America.
